O presente trabalho pretende analisar a ligação entre fadiga, bem-estar subjectivo e características do trabalho, numa amostra de 111 trabalhadoress em diversas áreas profissionais. O instrumento é composto por um conjunto de questões sócio-demográficas, pelo questionário PANAS (Galinha e Pais Ribeiro, 2005b), Satisfação com a vida (Laranjeira, 2009), CIS (Bultmann, De Vries, Beurksens, Bleijenberg, Vercoulen & Kant, 2000) e pela versão reduzida do JCQ (Ostry, Marion, Demers, Hershler, Kelly, Teschke & Hertzman, 2001). Os resultados obtidos permitem confirmar que há evidências estatísticas de relações positivas e negativas entre a fadiga e o bem-estar subjectivo e relações entre as características do trabalho e a fadiga. Porém não se constatou um efeito mediador entre as três variáveis como estava previsto na hipótese em estudo.

The instrument consists of a set of socio-demographic questions, , PANAS questionnaire (Galinha e Pais Ribeiro, 2005b), CIS questionnaire (Bultmann, De Vries, Beurksens, Bleijenberg, Vercoulen & Kant, 2000), Satisfaction with life Style (Laranjeira, 2009), and a reduced version of Job Content Questionnaire (Ostry, Marion, Demers, Hershler, Kelly, Teschke & Hertzman, 2001). The obtained results confirm that there is statistical evidence of a positive and negative relations between fatigue and subjective well-being, and relations between job characteristics and fatigue. However, the mediation effect between the three variables wasn’t confirmed, how was predicted at the study matter.
