Nos últimos anos tem existido um crescente
interesse por parte da comunidade científica pelo
estudo da qualidade da experiência subjectiva do
adolescente nos seus contextos de vida diários. De
entre estes, destaca-se o contexto escolar, pela
relevância que assume na construção da trajectória de
vida do adolescente. O presente artigo tem como
objectivo fazer uma revisão da investigação que tem
sido desenvolvida no âmbito do estudo da qualidade
da experiência subjectiva no contexto escolar, tendo
como referencial teórico o Experience Fluctuation
Model. Centrando-se, em particular, no conceito de
experiência óptima, é discutido o seu impacto na
qualidade da experiência escolar assim como na
criação de oportunidades de aprendizagem óptima e no
desenvolvimento de trajectórias educacionais positivas
e gratificantes. Por fim, salientam-se os contributos
desta perspectiva para a investigação e intervenção no
contexto educativo.
In the last years a growing interest about the study of the quality of subjective experience in adolescents’ daily contexts has emerged in research community. Special attention has been devoted to the school context, attending its relevance in the construction of adolescent’s life trajectory. The main aim of this article is to present a revision of empirical research conducted in the field of the subjective quality of experience in the school context, considering the theoretical and empirical model – The Experience Fluctuation Model. Focusing, specifically, in the concept of optimal experience, its impact in fostering the quality of school experience and in providing opportunities for optimal learning as well as for the development of positive life trajectories are discussed. Finally, the contributions of this perspective for research and intervention in educational contexts are highlighted.
