Este relatório de estágio em prática de ensino supervisionada analisa a importância
do envolvimento e bem-estar das crianças na educação pré-escolar, particularmente nos
Jardins de Infância. O envolvimento é descrito como um estado de atividade mental
intensa e satisfação, associado à motivação intrínseca e ao incremento da aprendizagem
e desenvolvimento. O bem-estar emocional é caracterizado por emoções positivas,
autoconfiança e sensação de realização, influenciando a disposição das crianças para
participarem em atividades.
O estudo identifica diferentes níveis de envolvimento com base em indicadores
como concentração, energia e persistência. Os educadores desempenham um papel
crucial na promoção de ambientes propícios ao envolvimento, proporcionando atividades
desafiantes e significativas, feedback construtivo e reconhecendo os interesses das
crianças.
A investigação revela que as crianças manifestam diversos graus de envolvimento
e bem-estar emocional, dependendo da atividade e dos seus interesses individuais.
Estratégias para melhorar o envolvimento incluem oferecer opções, desafios adequados e
criar oportunidades para exploração e criatividade.
Em conclusão, o estudo realça a natureza interdependente e crucial do
envolvimento e bem-estar emocional nas experiências educativas das crianças. Encorajase os educadores a implementar estratégias que correspondam às necessidades e
interesses individuais das crianças, assegurando ambientes seguros e estimulantes para a
aprendizagem e desenvolvimento.
ABSTRACT: This supervised teaching internship report looks at the importance of children's engagement and well-being in pre-school education, particularly in kindergartens. Engagement is described as a state of intense mental activity and satisfaction, associated with intrinsic motivation and increased learning and development. Emotional well-being is characterized by positive emotions, self-confidence and a sense of achievement, influencing children's willingness to participate in activities. The study identifies different levels of engagement based on indicators such as concentration, energy and persistence. Educators play a crucial role in fostering environments conducive to engagement, providing challenging and meaningful activities, constructive feedback and recognizing children's interests. Research shows that children manifest varying degrees of engagement and emotional well-being, depending on the activity and their individual interests. Strategies to improve engagement include offering choices, appropriate challenges and creating opportunities for exploration and creativity. In conclusion, the study highlights the interdependent and crucial nature of engagement and emotional well-being in children's educational experiences. Educators are encouraged to implement strategies that match children's individual needs and interests, ensuring safe and stimulating environments for learning and development.
