O percurso a estabelecer no processo de avaliação psicológica, no processo de constituição e construção de conhecimento sobre e com um sujeito, deve operar num processo de atribuição de sentido, construido num espaço e num tempo limitados e delimitados, e deve ser realizado com o recurso a uma conceptualização teórica e a uma metodologia claramente definidas e convergentes. Na conclusão do processo de avaliação devem evidenciar-se, claramente, as características desadaptativas
de um processo ou estado psicológico, mas devem evidenciar-se, igualmente, as Características adaptativas, que possibilitam o crescimento, a mudança, a transformação e a expansão que nos revelam as vias para a intervenção possível e desejável.
O Rorschach e o T.A.T. são apresentados como instrumentos que possibilitam e facilitam o processo de constituição e construção de conhecimento.
