Abstract(s)
ABSTRACT: In this article we aimed to investigate whether a psychossomatic disorder can arise instead of a depression, unable to be experienced and performed by the idividual. According to Coimbra de Matos and Pierre Marty, underneath the somatic illness lies an early depression, that took place before the individual reached the 6 months old, without the object. This seems to be the same kind of personality that in crisis periods will develop a failed depression, a depression whithout psychic depression, with no mental representation, but with a biological expression, mainly through the immune system. Sami-Ali believes that if repression ocurred, it operates since early childhood, becoming commensurate to the subject, which enabled him to fit in socially, leaving its own subjectivity behind. The absence of subjectivity, leads to the formation of a caracterial depression, in which somatization is dependent on a state of deadlock.
