Aprendizagem da leitura e da escrita no Pré-escolar : Contributo dos educadores para a aprendizagem da leitura e da escrita

A leitura é uma competência essencial para o desenvolvimento integral do
indivíduo e um instrumento fundamental para o exercício de uma cidadania plena, na
sociedade. Por isso, desenvolver esta competência precocemente é prover a criança de
meios que lhe permitem um percurso académico de sucesso e uma vida futura autónoma
e capacitada. Com este trabalho, pretendemos demonstrar os benefícios da introdução
precoce da leitura e da escrita em contexto pré-escolar. Dinamizámos em sala atividades
simples de abordagem destas competências que, de caráter lúdico-pedagógico, que
envolveu educadores, auxiliares, crianças e famílias, com a finalidade de promover o
contacto com o livro e desenvolver a expressão e a criatividade. A atividade partiu de um
exercício de leitura e culminou na realização de um livro realizado pelas crianças. O
jardim de infância, como base de toda a escolaridade, tem a função de fomentar o contacto
com o livro e desenvolver as competências linguísticas e cognitivas da criança. O projeto
aqui apresentado, “Ler é Ganhar Asas para o Mundo”, tem por base uma atividade
simples, mas significativa que teve como objetivo principal a criação de pequenos grandes
leitores, como forma de desenvolver competências essências, sem esquecer o aspeto
lúdico-pedagógico.
Reading is an essential skill for the integral development of the individual and a fundamental instrument for the exercise of full citizenship in society. Therefore, developing this skill early on is to provide the child with the means for a successful academic career and an autonomous and empowered future life. With this work, we intend to demonstrate the benefits of the early introduction of reading and writing in a preschool context. We organized simple activities in the classroom to approach these skills, of a playful-pedagogical nature, which involved educators, assistants, children and families, with the aim of promoting contact with books and developing expression and creativity. The activity started with a reading exercise and culminated in the production of a book by the children.
