Abstract(s)

The narrative identity was investigated through the McAdams (1997) features to understand the structure and content of adult life-stories. The life story was elaborated with non-directive style interviews, organized through time and finally subjected to content analysis. We apprehended the historic and individual reality of the participant, regarding the subjective and relational factors that remitted to the singularity of the individual experience, an approximation to the comprehension of the person in study.
