significados a ele associados.
ABSTRACT: The concept of narcissism is difficult to delimit due to the diversity of meanings associated. The way to understand this pathology is not unanimous some theoretical approaches focus on an behavior analysis and attitudes of grandiosity and manic defenses and others in the vulnerability of the self and the profound narcissistic failure. In this research both perspectives were taken into account. Narcissistic pathology is a pathological structure of the self which is the basis of narcissistic pathology. According to Kernberg, the origins of this condition is a fault or an excess of gratification by the parents leading to anger and / or jealousy felted towards the primary objects. In more severe degree of this disease patients have a pathological selfgrandiosity. Kernberg also states that patients with narcissistic pathology can not achieve a full subject relationship incorporating into the self good and bad object. The objective of this research is to understand the loving relationships established by narcissistic patients and how it binds to its psychic functioning. A comprehensive theory review of Otto Kernberg work will be developed.
