O materno em “Tudo sobre a minha mãe” de Pedro Almodóvar

Abstract(s)
Neste trabalho, pretende-se reflectir sobre as diversas faces do Materno e do
Feminino no filme “Tudo Sobre a Minha Mãe”, de Pedro Almodóvar, autor
contemporâneo que tem usado amplamente as personagens femininas na sua obra
cinematográfica. Procura-se apreciar como é retratada a função materna no filme,
ligada às dimensões de cuidado, de ajuda e de alimento.
Abordar o elemento materno presente numa criação artística, através das
dinâmicas relacionais entre personagens, compreende um movimento particular:
sublinhar a pertinência da obra, enquanto matéria de reflexão e de interrogação, bem
como na qualidade de aliada do conhecimento.
ABSTRACT: In this article, it is intended to analyze the various faces of the Maternal and Feminine in the film "All About My Mother" by Pedro Almodóvar, contemporary author who has extensively covered the female characters in his film work. It seeks to assess how it is portrayed in the film the maternal role, linked to the dimensions of care, aid and feeding. Addressing the maternal element present in an artistic creation, through the relational dynamics between characters, comprises a particular movement: emphasize the relevance of the work, as a matter of reflection and questioning, as well as an ally of knowledge.
