Abstract(s)
O objetivo deste estudo foi analisar as relações entre a liderança transformacional, eficácia das equipas, confiança das equipas e grau de virtualidade.
A amostra foi constituída por 18 equipas, onde foi requerido que cada membro da equipa preenchesse um questionário que contemplava cada uma das variáveis acima referidas.
Os resultados desta dissertação sugerem que a liderança transformacional se correlaciona positivamente com a eficácia das equipas, sendo que a confiança medeia positivamente esta relação. No entanto, a virtualidade demonstrou moderar negativamente a relação supracitada. Este estudo deu o seu contributo ao mostrar como a virtualidade é vivida pelos trabalhadores e como afeta as suas relações no trabalho e de que forma as empresas podem lidar com esta situação, também apresenta várias implicações, limitações e sugestões para futuros estudos.
The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationships between Transformational Leadership, Team Efficiency, Team Confidence, and the Degree of Virtuality. Our sample was constituted of 18 teams. It was required that every team member fill-out a questionnaire that featured every variable mentioned above. The results of this dissertation suggest that Transformational Leadership correlates positively with Team Efficiency, while Team Confidence positively affects the before mentioned relation. The Degree of Virtuality has also been demonstrated to negatively moderate the before mentioned relation. This study has contributed to our awareness of the way virtuality is experienced by employees and how it affects their work relationships and in what way, organizations can deal with this situation. We also discuss the implications, limitations, and suggestions in this dissertation to benefit future studies.
