dc.description.abstractO presente estudo teve como objetivo estudar a relação entre o Cyberbullying e a Performance Percebida em árbitros Portugueses de Futebol e Futsal. Adicionalmente, procurou também estudar-se a relação entre a Inteligência Emocional e a Performance Percebida e o papel moderador da Inteligência Emocional na relação entre o Cyberbullying e a Performance Percebida. Este estudo contou com a participação de 398 árbitros de futebol e futsal portugueses com idades compreendidas entre os 16 anos e os 58 anos (M = 29.82, DP = 8.34), onde 350 dos participantes eram do sexo masculino e 48 participantes do sexo feminino. Para analisar as variáveis em estudo foram utilizados três instrumentos: Para avaliar os níveis de Cyberbullying foi utilizado o Questionário de Cyberbullying – forma de comportamentos de vitimização (CCB-V) (Pinto & Cunha 2011); para avaliar os níveis de Inteligência Emocional foi utilizada a Trait Meta Mood Scale – 24 (TMMS-24) (Fernandez-Berrocal et al., 2004); por fim, para avaliar a performance percebida foi utilizado o Questionário de Perceção de Rendimento Desportivo-Versão Retrospetiva (Gomes, 2016). Os resultados obtidos evidenciaram uma ausência de relação entre os níveis de Cyberbullying e a Performance Percebida dos árbitros (não se verificando também uma moderação pela Inteligência Emocional nesta relação), tendo, no entanto, sido observada uma relação positiva significativa entre a Inteligência Emocional e a Performance Percebida dos árbitros.pt_PT
dc.description.abstractThe aim of this study was to evaluate the relation between Cyberbullying and Perceived Performance in Portuguese football and futsal referees. Furthermore, this study also tested the relation between Emotional Intelligence and Perceived Performance as well as the role of Emotional Intelligence as a moderator of the relation between Cyberbullying and Perceived Performance. This study counted with a total of 398 Portuguese referees of both football and futsal with ages between 16 and 58 years old (M = 29.82, DP = 8.34), with 350 being male and 48 female subjects. Three instruments were used to assess the different variables. To evaluate the levels of Cyberbullying, the Cyberbullying Questionnaire was used, based on the behavioural patterns of victimization (CCB-V) (Pinto & Cunha 2011). The Trait Metal Mood Scale was used to evaluate the Emotional Intelligence levels. Lastly, the Perception of Sports Yield Questionnaire was used to evaluate the Perceived Performance (Gomes, 2016). Results obtained in this study evidenced a non-significant relation between the levels of Cyberbullying and the referees’ Perceived Performance, with the role of Emotional Intelligence being non-significant as well. There was, however, a significant relation between Emotional Intelligence and the referees’ Perceived Performance.pt_PT
