Homoparentalidade – A análise de um outro/novo modelo de família

Estudou-se o fenómeno da homoparentalidade tendo subjacente vários factores a favor e
contra este modelo parental. A questão de investigação consistia nos problemas que se
levantam face à diferença do modelo homoparental em relação ao modelo tradicional
português. A hipótese que à partida surge para a não aceitação do modelo homoparental pela
sociedade portuguesa consiste na diferença deste modelo de família, onde a diferença é
sentida como ameaça no contexto da sociedade portuguesa contemporânea. Após a análise da
perspectiva psicológica, jurídica e sociológica, chegou-se à conclusão que é de facto a
diferença e descriminação que impede a aceitação das famílias homoparentais, não existindo
outro motivo plausível para a sua rejeição, e interdita a alteração para uma legislação justa que
proteja estas famílias.
I have study the phenomenon of homoparents taking several underlying factors for and against this parental model. The investigation question consists on problems that arise in the difference between the homoparental model and the Portuguese traditional model. At the beginning, the hypothesis that appears by the not acceptance of homoparental model by Portuguese society, is the difference of this type of family, and the difference is perceived as a threat in the context of contemporary Portuguese society. After reviewing psychological, legal and sociological perspectives, it was concluded that it is indeed the difference and discrimination that prevent the acceptance of homoparents families, and there is no other plausible reason for its rejection, and it prohibited the amendment to a fair law to protect these families.
