Abstract(s)
Problema: Falta de estudos
qualitativos sobre a experiência
subjetiva de jovens institucionalizados
tendo em conta o instrumento
YLS/CMI. Objetivo: Explorar e
compreender as experiências subjetivas
de jovens internados em CE, de acordo
com os fatores de risco previstos no
YLS/CMI. Método: Fenomenológico
interpretativo com entrevistas
semiestruturadas a seis jovens (quatro
do género feminino e dois do género
masculino) com idades entre os 15 e os
18 anos. Resultados: Revelaram-se
dez temas emergentes, Importância do
CE, Mudança de perspetiva,
Posicionamento em relação às regras,
Transformação positiva na relação com
a família, Modificação da perceção
sobre a escola, Impacto na relação com
os pares, Perceção negativa sobre a
forma como passavam os tempos
livres, Perceção utilitária do YLS/CMI,
Planos para o futuro e Sentimentos
quando pensam na sua saída do CE.
Conclusão: Os jovens reconhecem a
importância do CE para si mesmos e
para os seus futuros, tendo contribuído
para uma mudança de perceção a
vários níveis, em parte devido ao
YLS/CMI que os ajudou a reconhecer
o que era necessário mudar em si
mesmos e a estabelecer objetivos tanto
dentro do CE como para planearem a
sua vida fora do CE.
