Abstract(s)
O presente relatório tem como base a prática pedagógica em estágio, realizada no âmbito da Prática de Ensino Supervisionada em 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico (CEB), no ano letivo de 2020/2021. O estágio decorreu numa Instituição de natureza jurídico privada numa turma do 4º. ano de escolaridade do 1.º CEB. Considerando as especificidades do contexto, nomeadamente a utilização regular de jogos como estratégia pedagógica do docente cooperante, desenvolveu-se um estudo com o objetivo de compreender de que forma os jogos podem ser potencializadores das aprendizagens no 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico.
Para esta análise, recorreu-se a uma metodologia de investigação no âmbito da abordagem qualitativa. As técnicas e instrumentos de investigação selecionados foram a observação participante, a realização de entrevistas, tanto ao docente cooperante como a algumas crianças integrantes do grupo-turma, a análise documental do projeto educativo da Instituição e instrumentos, como o diário de bordo e o portefólio, e, por fim, a elaboração de fichas avaliativas e conversas informais, de modo a compreender quais os conhecimentos demonstrados pelas crianças anterior e posteriormente à implementação dos jogos.
Os resultados do estudo realçam a importância da implementação de jogos em contexto pedagógico, nomeadamente os jogos de natureza tecnológica, como potencializadores da aprendizagem. Através dos jogos selecionados para o presente estudo, as crianças mostraram uma progressão e desenvolvimento dos conteúdos abordados, demonstrando também mais interesse e empenho na realização das atividades propostas.
The present report was perfomed under the scope of the Supervised Practice Course in the Primary School, in the academic year of 2020/2021. The practice took place at a private legal Institution, in a 4th grade of Primary School classroom. Considering the schools characteristics, in particular the regular use of games in the classroom as one of the teachers’ strategies, the study was developed to understand the way that games might increase learning process in a Primary School classroom. Thus, a research methodology within the qualitative approach was used. The techniques and instruments of investigation selected were participant observation, interviews, to the teacher and some of the students, documentary analysis of the school educational project and instruments such as the logbook, the portfolio, tests, and informal conversations, intending to understand the children knowledge before and after the games. The study results point to the importance of using games in pedagogical scenarios, in particular technological games, to increase knowledge learning enhancer. Through the games selected for this study, the children showed evolution in regard to the covered contents, showing interest and commitment in the activities proposed.
