Abstract(s)
Este estudo define como objectivo apresentar evidências empíricas adicionais sobre o
impacto do Processo de Acolhimento e Integração Organizacional no Engagement no
trabalho, bem como no Compromisso Afectivo. Para cumprimento deste objectivo,
desenvolveu-se uma escala, construída segundo o modelo Tridimensional de Acolhimento e
Integração Organizacional, que permitisse avaliar a percepção individual, por parte dos novos
colaboradores, da qualidade do processo de Acolhimento e Integração.
Simultaneamente, hipotetizou-se que os novos colaboradores que percepcionam o
processo de Acolhimento e Integração como sendo útil, irão apresentar um maior Engagement
no Trabalho, bem como um maior compromisso afectivo com a organização.
Neste estudo participaram 347 colaboradores de diversas organizações localizadas em
Portugal. Os resultados revelaram que a escala construída do Acolhimento e Integração
obteve boas qualidades métricas sendo perceptível a existência das três dimensões. Foi
também demonstrado que um bom processo de Acolhimento e Integração Organizacional tem
uma relação positiva no Engagement no trabalho e também no Compromisso Organizacional.
The aims of this study are to present additional empirical evidence of the impact of Onboarding Process on Engagement at work and Affective Commitment. To fulfil these objectives, it was developed an evaluative scale according to the Three-Dimensional Model of Onboarding, assessing the individual perception of new employees, about the quality of reception and integration process. Simultaneously it was hypothesized that the new employees, who perceive the Onboarding Process as being useful, will present a greater Engagement at work, as well as a greater Affective Commitment to the organization.
