Abstract(s)
elaboração do presente relatório foi-me possível entender o quão importante é promover
a um grupo de crianças vivências diferenciadas. Dar a oportunidade de descobrirem e
construírem a sua aprendizagem fora da sala.
This report results from Supervised Practice in a Kindergarten context, held during the Master's Degree in Preschool Education, which lasted four months, with a heterogeneous group of nineteen children aged between four and six years. The kindergarten is located within a public garden. The aim of this final report was to understand the importance of the relationship between the kindergarten and its envolving community, as well as the role of the methodology used inside the classroom, the Modern School Movement. The method used within this report was the Qualitative Interpretative Paradigm, with resource to the kindergarten teacher’s interview, direct observation and document analysis subject to the pedagogical model’s regulation instruments created during supervised practice. Throughout this paper I was able to realize that the lessons learned through the social context promote a much bigger skill acquisition, and, consequently, the children appropriate their experiences with a greater involvement in their own learning process. With this being said, during my pedagogical practice, allied with the making of this paper, I was able to understand the importance of putting a group of children through different live situations, giving them the opportunity to learn by themselves and to build their own learning curve outside the classroom
