Abuso sexual de crianças é um problema mundial que afeta milhões de crianças à
escala global. Tais experiências podem ter vários tipos de consequências tanto a nível
psicológico e físico, como a nível social. Uma dessas consequências é a gravidez na
adolescência.
O objetivo desta dissertação é procurar a relação entre abuso sexual de crianças e a
gravidez na adolescência. Para tal, serão tidos em conta as consequências gerais dos abusos
sexuais de modo a compreender como estas levam a uma gravidez adolescente.
Este trabalho centra-se numa análise crítica da literatura atual, onde fundamentalmente
artigos publicados nos últimos 5 anos e escritos em inglês foram considerados para
responderem à questão.
ABSTRACT: Child sexual abuse is a world problem that affects millions of children on a global scale. Such experiences can have various types of consequences both psychologically and physically, as well as socially. One of those consequences is adolescent pregnancy. The purpose of this dissertation is to search the relation between child sexual abuse and adolescent pregnancy. To this end, the general consequences of sexual abuse will be taken into account in order to understand how they lead to an adolescent pregnancy. This work is a critical analysis of the current literature, where fundamentally articles published in the last 5 years and written in English were considered to answer the question.
