| dc.description.abstract | Apesar de existir um aumento na quantidade de trabalhos que abordam o tema da representação social, no entanto observa-se que o contexto familiar não é muito explorado. Para além disso, dos estudos efetuados em Portugal, são poucos os que abrangem esta faixa etária. Portanto, o presente estudo quantitativo, investiga as representações sociais da família em pré-adolescentes com idades compreendidas entre os 12 e 13 anos, utilizando uma metodologia comparativa entre famílias constituídas e divorciadas, com a finalidade de compreender as possíveis semelhanças e diferenças entre elas. Para o efeito foi utilizado um protocolo constituído por 4 escalas (Escala dos Motivos de Divórcio, Escala da Dinâmica Familiar, Escala do Auto-conceito de Piers-Harris, Escala da Satisfação Familiar por Adjetivos) a fim de obter informações pertinentes ao objetivo da investigação. Salienta-se que existem diferenças significativas nas representações sociais da família nos pré-adolescentes, quanto ao estado civil dos pais e ainda em função do género, no que diz respeito aos fatores constituintes de uma boa relação familiar, no entanto, verifica-se uma unanimidade à necessidade de Confiança e Afeto e Carinho, quer por parte de jovens com pais casados quer com pais divorciados. Também se verificou diferenças significativas relativamente à satisfação familiar, onde os jovens com pais divorciados apresentam menos contentamento. | por |
| dc.description.abstract | Although there’s an increase in the amount of work that address the theme of social representation, however is observed that the family context is not much explored. Additionally, studies carried out in Portugal, there are few who embrace this age group. Therefore, this quantitative study investigates the social representations of the family in pre-adolescents aged, between 12 and 13 years old, using a comparative methodology between established and divorced families, in order to understand the possible similarities and differences between them. To this end a protocol consisting of 4 scales (Scale of Grounds for Divorce, Family Dynamics Scale, Piers–Harris Self-Concept Scale and Family Satisfaction by Adjectives Scale) was used to obtain information relevant to the purpose of the investigation. It is noted that there are significant differences in social representations of the family in pre-adolescents, as to the marital status of their parents and even by gender, with respect to the constituent elements of a good family relationship, however, there is a unanimously and the need for trust and Affection and endearment, either by young people with married parents or with divorced parents. It was also found significant differences with regard to family satisfaction, where young people with divorced parents report lower levels of pleasure. | por |
