Vinculação, reputação e delinquência, qual a relação? : Um estudo com adolescentes

O presente estudo tem como objetivo analisar se existe relação entre a vinculação, a preocupação com a reputação e a delinquência em adolescentes, de maneira a tentar perceber se: os adolescentes que apresentam mais comportamentos delinquentes vão apresentar uma maior ou menor vinculação aos amigos vs. pais e uma alta ou baixa preocupação com a reputação aos amigos vs. professores.
Este estudo quantitativo, de carácter transversal e exploratório, conta com um tipo de amostragem de conveniência não-probabilística em que serão necessários 375 participantes de idades compreendidas entre os treze e os dezanove anos de idade, e que se encontrem a frequentar entre o 7º e o 12º anos de escolaridade em escolas situadas na área da Grande Lisboa. Pretende-se aplicar um questionário de caraterização sociodemográfico, o inventário da vinculação na adolescência, a escala da preocupação com a reputação e a escala da variedade da delinquência.
Espera-se que os adolescentes com maior comunicação e confiança com pais e amigos normativos e menor comunicação e confiança com os amigos com comportamentos delinquentes irão demonstrar menos comportamentos delinquentes. E adolescentes com uma baixa preocupação com a reputação aos amigos com comportamentos delinquentes e uma alta preocupação com a reputação aos professores irão demonstrar menos comportamentos deliquentes.
ABSTRACT: The present study aims to explore the relation between attachment, reputation concerns and adolescent delinquency, in order to understand if: adolescents who present more delinquent behavior will present higher or lower attachment levels regarding their peers vs. their parents and also if these adolescents will present higher or lower reputation concerns regarding their peers vs. their professors. This quantitative study, with a transversal and exploratory nature, would count on a non-probabilistic convenience sample of 375 participants between 13 and 19 years. The participants would attend between the 7th and the 12th grade in schools located within the Great Lisbon area. We intend to apply a sociodemographic questionnaire, the adolescent attachment inventory, the concern for reputation scale and the delinquency variety scale. We expect to find that adolescents with higher communication and trust levels towards parents and normative peers and lower communication and trust levels towards peers engaged in delinquent behavior will present less delinquent behavior themselves. Also, adolescents with low reputation concerns regarding peers with delinquent behavior and high reputation concerns regarding professors will show less delinquent behavior.
