| dc.description.abstract | Perante a importância do conhecimento dos fatores que mais se podem correlacionar com o nível de satisfação sexual em homens adultos com mais de 40 anos, e com um maior nível de bem-estar nos mesmos, fez-se, primeiramente, uma revisão da literatura acerca do tema, recaindo em autores que analisam o conceito de bem-estar, andropausa, qualidade de vida e satisfação sexual. Os objetivos desta investigação foram os de perceber as relações entre bem-estar e satisfação sexual em homens portugueses com mais de 40 anos. Simultaneamente, foi distribuído um inquérito a uma amostra de 122 homens, com uma faixa etária superior a 40 anos de idade, sem qualquer tipo de condicionantes ou imposições, sejam conjugais ou de identificação sexual, que preencheram um protocolo de investigação em formato papel e digital, respondendo de forma voluntária, consentida e anónima, a questões semiestruturadas que nos permitiriam o levantamento e tratamento de dados respeitante à nossa questão científica. No presente estudo foi utilizado o protocolo de investigação do projeto Evisa, que foi desenvolvido pela equipa de pesquisa do ISPA-IU (ver em anexo A). Os instrumentos utilizados no tratamento de dados foram: um questionário sociodemográfico, uma escala do bem-estar “Distress Scale K6”, e outra escala da satisfação sexual, “The New Sexual Satisfaction Scale (NSSS)”. Deste estudo concluiu-se que há correlação significativa entre a Idade, o Bem-estar e a Satisfação sexual mas o nosso estudo sociodemográfico não nos forneceu dados estatísticos para afirmar que a idade e o Bem-estar estão negativamente correlacionados, ou seja, não há influência entre a idade e o Bem-estar. Quanto à segunda variável, a satisfação sexual e a sua correlação com a idade, considerando as dimensões analisadas, concluímos que a idade influência a satisfação sexual. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | ABSTRACT: Given the importance of knowing the factors that can most correlate with the level of sexual satisfaction in adult men over 40 years old, and with a higher level of well-being in them, a literature review was first made about the theme, appearing in authors who analyze the concept of well-being, andropause, quality of life and sexual satisfaction. The objective of this research was to understand the relationship between well-being and sexual satisfaction in Portuguese men over 40 years of age. At the same time, a survey was conducted on a sample of 122 men, over 40 years of age, without any kind of constraints or impositions, be their marital or sexual identification, who completed a research protocol in paper and digital format, who responded voluntarily, consensually and anonymously, to semi-structured questions that would allow us to collect and process data regarding our scientific issue. In the present study, the research protocol used was the one developed by ISPA-IU research team (see Annex A), of the Evisa project. The instruments used in the data treatment were: a sociodemographic questionnaire, a scale of well-being "Distress Scale K6", and another scale of sexual satisfaction, "The New Sexual Satisfaction Scale (NSSS)". From this study it was concluded that there is a significant correlation between Age, Well-Being and Sexual Satisfaction, but our sociodemographic study did not provide us with statistical data to affirm that age and Well-being are negatively correlated, that is, there is no influence between age and well-being. Regarding the second variable, sexual satisfaction and its correlation with age, considering the dimensions analyzed, we conclude that age influences sexual satisfaction. | pt_PT |
