ABSTRACT: This article shows an ethiopathogenic hypothesis of Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder with deficit (ADHD), integrating contributes from development psychology, attachment theory and research results within the neurosciences and genetic fields. It argues ADHD as a children's self-regulation disorder, and early interaction as one of the ethiopathogenic factors to the child's development. Through a theory methodology, it goes retrospectively through the child's path highlighting the critical period of brain maturation in the first years of life, as a determinant period for the organization of a dysfunctional pattern which acts in the development of the ADHD, later diagnosed. The election of an integrated perspective avoids splitting the complexity, inherent to these children, in a singular dimension. We undertake the dimension set that characterizes each element and its implications towards the interactive meetings in-scripted in that earlier period. It is only possible to analyze this dynamic from an intersubjective approach, made, in this work, within the Mutual Regulation Model, proposed by Edward Tronick. He argues that in the ADHD origin there is an early interaction predominantly disordered, showing some failures in the possibility to repair interactive mistakes, leading the partners to a long pathogenic interactive stress experience, marked with negative affective states, which tends to be internalized and amplified to other relationships.
