| dc.description.abstract | O presente estudo qualitativo pretende compreender o contexto, as características e os impactos das práticas do terapeuta em psicoterapia existencial. Para o efeito aplicou-se o SET 1 – Formulário de Eventos Significativos do Terapeuta. Participaram 4 terapeutas existenciais, e 10 pacientes em processo de psicoterapia numa Clínica Universitária, com os próprios terapeutas. Em relação aos resultados, estes revelam que o Encontro Terapêutico é a base das sessões, e que os conteúdos que são trabalhados durante as mesmas, especificamente nos momentos considerados significativos pelos terapeutas, estes adotam por um lado uma postura terapêutica caracterizada pelo envolvimento, segurança, escuta ativa, disponibilidade para acompanhar em momentos difíceis, exploração de sentimentos e experiências, e espaço para nomear e experienciar sentimentos e emoções (Posturas Terapêuticas). E por outro lado, uma postura de orientação, promovendo a reflexividade, a responsabilização, consciencialização, tendo sido estes impactos identificados no estudo (Competências Relacionais). | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | This qualitative study aims to understand the context, characteristics and impact of the therapist's practice in existential psychotherapy. For this purpose it was applied the SET 1 - Significant Event Therapist - Form. In this study 4 existential therapists participated along with 10 of their own patients in a process of psychotherapy in a University Clinic. Regarding the results, these show that the therapeutic encounter is the basis of the sessions, and the contents that are worked during them, specially in times considered significant by therapists, one hand they adopt a therapeutic stance characterized by involvement, safety, active listening, willingness to be present in difficult moments, exploring feelings and experiences, and space to name and experience feelings and emotions (Therapeutic postures). On the other hand, an attitude of orientation, promoting reflexivity, accountability and awareness, were the impacts identified in the study (Relational Skills). | pt_PT |
