Abstract(s)
Este trabalho de investigação tem por objetivo analisar o impacto das práticas de Gestão
de Recursos Humanos (GRH) no desempenho organizacional. Adicionalmente, também colmatar
a lacuna existente relativamente ao universo português.
Os dados foram obtidos através de um questionário dirigido aos profissionais de recursos
humanos, selecionando as empresas onde estes exercem de acordo com a análise do ranking 500
Maiores & Melhores Empresas, extraído da Revista Exame Edição Especial de 2011, obtendo-se
dois grupos distintos de organizações: top performers e low performers.
Os resultados demonstram que não existem diferenças na aplicação das práticas de GRH,
sugerindo que existem muitos outros fatores a serem tidos em conta como por exemplo a
diferença de perceções dos gestores de RH e dos restantes colaboradores, a crise económica em
que Portugal se encontra, o tipo de organização e ainda a forma de implementação das práticas de
GRH.
ABSTRACT: This research work aims to analyze the impact of the practices of Human Resources Management (HRM) on organizational performance. Additionally, is also bridging the gap for Portuguese universe. The data was obtained through a questionnaire aimed at human resources professionals by selecting companies where exercise according to the analysis of the ranking "500 Mais e Melhores Empresas", extracted from the Exame Magazine 2011 special edition, getting two distinct groups of organizations: top performers and low performers. The results shows that there is no differences in the application of HRM practices, suggesting that there are many others factors to consider such as the difference in perceptions of HR managers and others employees, the economic crisis in which Portugal is, type of organization and even the way of HRM practices are implemented.
