Neste artigo procede-se a uma revisão de trabalhos
empíricos articulando teorias de senso comum sobre a
inteligência com dinâmicas escolares, dando-se particular
relevo a pesquisas que se inserem no filão de
estudos da teoria das representações sociais. As investigações
são analisadas nas dimensões sociogenética e
ontogenética das teorias de senso comum sobre a inteligência A teoria das concepções pessoais sobre a inteligência,
desenvolvida por Carol Dweck, é também
analisada, sendo referidas algumas conclusões de um
interessante estudo português, que articula factores
ontogenéticos e sociogenéticos.
In this article, the author proceed to a review of researches on social common sense theories about intelligence - a number of them with reference to the social representations theory - and its articulations with school dynamics. The researches are analysed following the sociogenetic and the ontogenetic dimensions of the common sense theories about intelligence. Finally, the theory of the personal conceptions of intelligence, developed by Carol Dweck, it is also analysed, and some conclusions of a interesting portuguese research, articulating ontogenetic and sociogenetic factors of this kind of lay theories, are refereed.
