Abstract(s)
O presente estudo tem como objetivo descrever, explorar e compreender a experiência subjetiva dos indivíduos que praticam meditação Mindfulness. A metodologia aplicada insere-se na aplicação do Método Fenomenológico Amedeo Giorgi, um método qualitativo e descritivo. Esta metodologia insere-se numa investigação qualitativa de natureza fenomenológica, com a finalidade de obter uma descrição final com os constituintes essenciais e invariáveis da experiência. A amostra é composta por quatro participantes, três do sexo feminino e um do sexo masculino, com idades compreendidas entre os 35 e os 61 anos. Os resultados indicam que o significado da experiência da prática de Mindfulness encontra-se intimamente ligado ao bem-estar psicológico, onde os participantes buscam uma melhoria na sua qualidade de vida, para conseguirem encontrar um maior equilíbrio, maior tolerância e uma capacidade de menor julgamento perante as situações que vivenciam no seu quotidiano. O stress, a ansiedade, e todo o sofrimento psicológico que advém do seu modo de estar e viver a vida são apaziguadas pela prática regular de Mindfulness e, consequentemente, leva a conseguirem estar mais no momento presente.
The present study has as objective to describe, explore and understanding of the subjective experience of individuals who of practice Mindfulness meditation. The methodology used this is part of the application of the phenomenological method of Amedeo Giorgi, a qualitative and descriptive method. The methodology used is part of a qualitative research of phenomenological nature, aiming to reach to a final description with the essential and invariable constituents of this experience. The sample is composed of four participants, three female and one male, aged between 35 and 61 years. The results indicate that the meaning of the experience of Mindfulness practice is closely linked to psychological well-being, where participants seek an improvement in their quality of life, so that through this practice they can find greater balance, more tolerance and a capacity for less judgment regarding the situations they experience in their daily lifes. Stress, anxiety, and all the psychological suffering that comes from being in and living life are appeased by the regular practice of Mindfulnes, and consequently, leads to being more presente.
