Abstract(s)
Este estudo, desenvolvido no contexto do Mestrado em Psicologia Comunitária,
analisa de forma crítica os processos, procedimentos e experiências de integração da
população migrante em Portugal, com foco no Centro de Acolhimento para Refugiados
(CPR) em Loures, visando promover mudanças nesses processos. Esta investigação procura
expandir a compreensão sobre a integração da população migrante em Portugal, utilizando
uma análise crítica direcionada para a transformação através do olhar e dos sentimentos desta
população que, irá moldar essa integração. Esta investigação adota uma abordagem descritiva
e exploratória, utilizando métodos mistos que integram dados quantitativos (análise
descritiva e inferencial) e qualitativos (análise temática), permitindo uma análise mais
detalhada. A resiliência e a integração são cruciais para a adaptação da população migrante,
mas as barreiras estruturais e a falta de apoio inicial podem prejudicar esses processos.
Assim, as políticas e as intervenções devem reforçar a resiliência, aprimorar o suporte
comunitário e facilitar a integração cultural para promover o bem-estar da população
migrante.
ABSTRACT: This study, developed in the context of the master’s degree in Community Psychology, critically analyses the processes, procedures, and experiences of integrating the migrant population in Portugal, focusing on a Refugee Reception Centre (CPR) in Loures, with the aim of promoting changes in these processes. This research seeks to expand understanding of the integration of the migrant population in Portugal, using a critical analysis aimed at transformation through the gaze and feelings of this population that will shape this integration. This research adopts a descriptive and exploratory approach, using mixed methods that integrate quantitative data (descriptive and inferential analysis) and qualitative data (thematic analysis), allowing for a more comprehensive and detailed analysis. Resilience and effective integration are crucial for adaptation of the migrant population, but structural barriers and lack of initial support can hinder this process. Thus, policies and interventions should strengthen resilience, enhance community support and facilitate cultural integration to promote migrants' well-being
