| dc.description.abstract | Apesar da existência de estudos que foquem os estilos de vinculação ou as estratégias de coping nos comportamentos autolesivos (CAL), ainda é escassa a literatura que equacione ambas as variáveis e indague sobre a existência de mediação entre estas. A presente investigação teve como objetivo estudar a influência da vinculação e as estratégias de coping nos comportamentos autolesivos e verificar se existem diferenças entre sexos e grupo etário. Pretendeu-se analisar também que dimensões da vinculação e estratégias de coping predizem os comportamentos autolesivos e se as estratégias de coping medeiam as dimensões da vinculação nestes comportamentos. Este estudo foi realizado no âmbito do Projeto ‘Tu és único’, cuja recolha realizou-se em duas escolas secundárias de Lisboa, perfazendo a amostra total 857 alunos com idades compreendidas entre os 14 e 21 anos. Foram aplicados o Inventário de Comportamentos Autolesivos (ICAL), o Inventário de Vinculação aos Pais e Pares (IPPA) e o Questionário de Regulação Emocional Cognitiva (CERQ). Os resultados evidenciam diferenças entre sexos e grupo etário na perpetuação de comportamentos autolesivos; correlação positiva entre a dimensão alienação e os CAL, e negativa para as dimensões confiança e comunicação dos pais; e correlação positiva entre coping focado e CAL, e negativa para o coping focado no problema. A alienação mãe e confiança pai, e as estratégias autoculpabilização e replaneamento mostraram-se preditores dos CAL. Verificou-se ainda que a alienação à mãe é mediada pela autoculpabilização e replaneamento, e a confiança ao pai pelo replaneamento. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | ABSTRACT: Despite the existence of studies that focus on the attachment styles or coping strategies in self-injurious behaviors (CAL), there is still little literature that equates both variables and inquires about the existence of mediation between them. The present study aimed to analyse the influence of attachment and coping strategies on self - injurious behaviors and to verify if there are differences between sexes and age group. It was also intended to analyze which dimensions of attachment and coping strategies predict self-injurious behaviors and whether coping strategies mediate the dimensions of attachment in these behaviors. This study was carried out as part of the project ‘Tu és único”, which was collected in two secondary schools in Lisbon, with a total sample of 857 students between the ages of 14 and 21. The Self-Behavioral Inventory (ICAL), the Parent and Peer Linkage Inventory (IPPA) and the Cognitive Emotional Regulation Questionnaire (CERQ) were applied. The results show differences between sexes and age group in the perpetuation of self-injurious behaviors; positive correlation between the alienation dimension and the CAL, and negative for the dimensions of trust and communication of the parents; and positive correlation between focused coping and CAL, and negative for coping focused on the problem. Mother alienation and parent confidence, and self-blame and replanning coping were predictors of CALs. It was also verified that the alienation to the mother is mediated by self-blame and replanning, and the trust of the father by replanning. | pt_PT |
