Neste artigo, propomos um conjunto de reflexões
que estabelecem o confronto entre alguns dos mecanismos
que originam a privação socio-económica e as
suas consequências nos processos de desenvolvimento
humano. É discutido o papel da Ciência na emergência
das problemáticas sociais e põe-se em relevo, a falácia
do conceito «Globalização», face aos novos e crescentes
territórios da marginalidade e da exclusão social
ABSTRACT: In this paper, we discuss the social economical privation and its possible causes. Focusing the general context of social exclusion and marginality, we argue that science may have a role on the origin of some of these social problems, and the «Globalisation» as a solution is a fallacy.
