| dc.description.abstract | O surgimento da terapia familiar contribuiu para uma mudança de paradigma relativamente à forma de pensar o indivíduo, considerado como parte de um sistema – a família – no qual estabelece interacções mútuas e relações complexas. A pertinência geral deste estudo assenta assim na importância de compreender os factores relacionais envolvidos num sistema como a família, como são o caso da comunicação e da estrutura familiares. Este trabalho tem então dois objectivos: analisar o funcionamento familiar de famílias que realizaram terapia, tendo por base contribuições teóricas relevantes como os axiomas da comunicação, o Modelo Circumplexo e o Modelo Estrutural; e realizar um estudo de caso, tendo em vista o aprofundamento da problemática da violência conjugal a partir dos modelos enunciados. O estudo desta problemática justifica-se pelo facto de, na literatura, ter sido amplamente analisada numa perspectiva de género, identificando-se lacunas relativamente à dinâmica relacional envolvida neste fenómeno. Para esta investigação participaram 7 famílias que realizaram terapia familiar e de casal numa sociedade científica portuguesa, apresentando diversas problemáticas (e.g. comportamentos disruptivos, dificuldades de relacionamento). Os instrumentos utilizados foram uma grelha de caracterização e análise do funcionamento familiar, sendo que para o estudo de caso foi adicionada a subescala da comunicação da Clinical Rating Scale. A análise dos dados foi feita através da técnica de análise de conteúdo. Os resultados são apresentados com base em três momentos do processo terapêutico, demonstrando uma evolução positiva do casal no decorrer da terapia, que alcançou mudanças significativas na comunicação e na definição de limites e regras familiares. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | The appearance of family therapy contributed to paradigm change regarding the way of thinking the individual, considered as a part of a system – the family – in which establishes mutual interactions and complex relations. The general pertinence of this study settles in the importance of understanding relational factors involved in a system like family, such as family communication and structure. This work has then two aims: to analyze family functioning of families that had therapy, based on relevant theoretical contributions such as communication axioms, the Circumplex Model and the Structural Model; and develop a study case, in view of deepening the problematic of conjugal violence from the stated models. The study of this problematic is justified by the fact that in literature has been widely considered in a gender perspective, identifying gaps relative to the relational dynamic involved in this phenomena. For this investigation have participated 7 families who have had family and couple therapy in a Portuguese scientific society, presenting several problematics (e.g. disruptive behaviors, relationship difficulties). The instruments used was a characterization and analysis chart of family functioning, being that for the study case was added the communication subscale of Clinical Rating Scale. The data analysis was done by using the content analysis technique. The results are presented based on three moments of the therapeutic process, showing a positive evolution of the couple during the therapy, which achieved significant changes in communication and in the definition of family limits and rules. | pt_PT |
