Abstract(s)
ferramenta valiosa para melhorar a prática da psicologia clínica (Lambert et al., 2005;
O presente estudo investigou a
melhorando a prática clínica e o desenvolvimento profissional.
ABSTRACT: So far, the implementation of the feedback system has proven to be a valuable tool for improving clinical psychology practice (Lambert et al., 2005; Hatfield et al., 2015; Hansen et al., 2002). However, its effectiveness and specific application in clinical psychology students have been relatively unexplored. The present study investigated the implementation of the Routine Outcome Monitoring system in clinical practice, with a focus on the training of clinical psychology students. The research involved eight participants who completed clinical internships between 2021 and 2022 in a brasilian university. Using semi-structured interviews and a descriptive phenomenological approach, the research identified essential elements in the participants' experiences. The results highlighted the system's ability to identify new key points in therapy, as well as initial adaptation challenges and the significance of training. Moreover, they underscored the value of quantitative data in making patients' needs more concrete and objective. This study contributes to understanding the impact of feedback systems in clinical training, enhancing clinical practice, and professional development.
