Abstract(s)
Resultados: Foram levantados 1 tema abrangente - “a partilha, o corpo e a perceção” -, 4 temas
Impactos emocionais, 2.2.) Padrões pessoais, 2.3) A importância do tangível; 3.1) Impactos
pessoais e profissionais, 3.2.) Oportunidades, 3.3.) “Um estilo de vida”; 3.4.) Materialização
de valores; 3.5.) Missão.
ABSTRACT: Issue: Playback Theater (PT) stands as a distinctive form of improvised theater dedicated to translating audience-supplied stories into impactful dramatic portrayals, shedding light on the underlying essence of these narratives. Despite extensive evidence showcasing PT's benefits in diverse clinical settings, a gap exists in understanding the enduring impacts of continuous PT practice on its professionals, referred to as playbackers, who regularly perform for diverse audiences. Objective: The aim is to deepen our comprehension of the advantages offered by PT by exploring the subjective experiences of playbackers with substantial expertise in the field. Methodology: We adopted a qualitative approach utilizing thematic content analysis. Data were gathered through face-to-face semi-structured interviews with eight PT professionals, comprising three females and five males, aged between 26 and 50 years. These practitioners engage in weekly PT sessions, accumulating three to fifteen years of continuous experience. Findings: The conceptual outcomes unveiled a central theme, "Sharing, Body, and Perception," accompanied by four key themes: 1) "Depth of Connection – A Sacred Space," 2) "Heterogeneous Contexts," 3) "Sense and Purpose," and 4) "Empathy as an Emotional Repertoire." Additionally, thirteen subthemes emerged: 1.1) Inner Listening, 1.2) Listening Amplification, 1.3) Internalization of Rules and Freedom of Expression; 2.1) Emotional Impacts, 2.2) Personal Patterns, 2.3) Importance of the Tangible; 3.1) Personal and professional Impacts, 3.2.) Opportunities, 3.3) "A Lifestyle," 3.4) Materialization of Values, 3.5) Mission.
