Abstract(s)
o Sexo e o Papel apresentaram efeitos multivariados, estatisticamente, significativos.
The current study aims to investigate the existence and type of influence that attachment to parental figures has on the emergence of depressive symptoms in adolescents involved in situations of Bullying and/or Cyberbullying. A total of 75 individuals aged between 10 and 18 years old participated in this investigation. To evaluate the three variables under study - parental attachment, involvement in Bullying/Cyberbullying situations, and the presence of depressive symptoms - three different instruments were administered: the KSS (Kerns, 2015), the EBIPQTV (González-Cabrera et al., 2019), the CTQ (González-Cabrera et al., 2019), and the CDI (Kovacs, 1983). In addition to these instruments, a sociodemographic questionnaire was also administered. The effects of multivariate analysis were examined based on Role, Gender, and Age, with Age included as a covariate. The analysis revealed that Gender and Role presented statistically significant multivariate effects. However, no multivariate interaction effects of Age were observed, nor interaction between Role and Gender. Regarding involvement in Bullying and Cyberbullying situations, it is possible to state that there are no significant differences between boys and girls. However, it is girls who are most involved as Victims in Bullying situations in school contexts, and as Cyber-Victims, Cyber-Aggressors and Cyber-Observers. Boys are more involved as Aggressors and Observers of school Bullying situations.
