Mudança estrutural através da Escala Capacidades Psicológicas (SPC) em dois casos de psicoterapia psicnalítica

Abstract(s)
A preocupação de que exista mais investigação empírica para comprovar a eficácia da
psicanálise e criar instrumentos que facilitem essa investigação são os motores principais que
motivaram o desenvolvimento deste estudo. O objetivo é avaliar a fiabilidade da Scales of
Psychological Capacities (SPC), e tentar confirmar a eficácia da psicoterapia de inspiração
psicanalítica através da mudança estrutural. Foi replicado o estudo de Morgado (2012), que
consistia num período de 12 meses de psicoterapia de inspiração psicanalítica de duas
participantes. Foram analisadas usando o SPC as gravações áudio de 3 momentos distintos: as
4 sessões iniciais, aos 6 meses e 12 meses depois. O estudo conclui a fiabilidade do SPC
através da alta concordância inter avaliadores, e tem resultados ambivalentes sobre a eficácia
da psicoterapia de inspiração psicanalítica através das SPC.
The concerns that there is more empirical investigation to validate the efficiency of Psychoanalysis and create instruments that facilitate this investigation are the prime engines that led to the development of this study. The objective of this study is to verify the reliability of the portuguese version of the scales of psychological capacities, by applying it to audio records, also try to confirm the efficacy of psychoanalytical psychotherapy. The study of Morgado (2012) was replicated which consisted of a period of 12 months of psychoanalytical psychotherapy, and were analyzed using the SPC in audio records of a total of 33 sessions divided by 3 different moments, in two participants. The 3 moments corresponded at 4 sessions at the beginning of therapy, 4 sessions after six months, and were analyzed 12 months later, 2 sessions for Participant A and 4 sessions to Participant B. The study confirms the inter-rater high concordance and has ambivalent results about the efficacy of psychoanalytical psychotherapy.
