Apresenta-se uma síntese de um estudo exploratório que utiliza como quadro teórico e conceptual de pesquisa a teoria das representações sociais.
Procura-se apreender a representacão da criança em
Educadores de Infância e Professores do 1 .O Ciclo do
Ensino Básico criando-se três contextos discursivos:
criança, criança em idade pré-escolar e criança em idade
escolar.
A informação trabalhada foi recolhida através de
duas técnicas: entrevistas semi-directivas e associações
livres de palavras e respectivas introspecções organizadas.
ABSTRACT: This article presents a summary of an exploratory study whose theoretical framework concerns the social representations theory. The research focuses on the representation of children by kindergarten teachers and primary school teachers through the creation of three contexts of report: the child, the child before schooiing and the chiid at school. To coilect the information analysed in the study, the author adopts two different techniques: semi-directive interviews and free association of words, and their respective organised introspection.
