| dc.description.abstract | O presente estudo pretende investigar as expetativas que as crianças têm relativamente ao seu futuro, do ponto de vista da criança e do ponto de vista dos respetivos progenitores. Este trabalho tem, ainda o objetivo de compreender se as expetativas para o futuro das crianças dependem da classe social a que estas pertencem, sendo que as classes sociais a estudar são a classe social baixa e a classe social alta. Além da análise das expetativas será observado também, quais são as influências que as crianças têm no seu dia-a-dia que as levam a que tenham determinadas expetativas. O método usado para a recolha de informação foi a entrevista, pois esta permite obter respostas mais concisas. Foram realizadas vinte e quatro entrevistas, sendo que metade destas foi às mães e a outra metade aos seus respetivos filhos. Dentro do grupo das mães metade pertencem à classe social baixa e metade à classe social alta, assim como no grupo dos filhos. A partir da análise das entrevistas é possível compreender as diferenças e as semelhanças nas expetativas que os pais e os filhos têm para o futuro destes, as disparidades e as parecenças entre as expetativas das crianças que pertencem a diferentes classes sociais e por último, qual o motivo da existência destas diferentes expetativas. Ao compreendermos o que influência as diferentes expetativas será possível, mais tarde criar sessões junto das populações que apresentam expetativas mais negativas para o seu futuro. Estas sessões terão o objetivo de ajudar as populações a terem expetativas mais elevadas e assim terem um melhor futuro pessoal, social, económico e cultural. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | The present study intends to investigate children's expectations regarding their future. These expectations will be analysed from the point of view of the child and their parents. Another purpose of this study is to understand if the children future expectations depend on the social class to which they belong, considering that the social classes used to the study are low and high. Besides the expectation’s analysis, it will also observe how the children daily life influences their expectations. The method used to collect the information was the interview, because it allows to get more specific answers. Were realized twenty-four interviews, half of which went to mothers and half to their respective children. Within the group of mothers, half belong to the lower social class and half to the upper social class, as well as the group of children, in which half belong to the lower social class and half belong to the upper social class. Through the analysis of the interviews is possible to understand the differences and similarities in the expectations that parents and respective children have for their future, the disparities and the similarities between the expectations of children belonging to different social classes and, finally, what’s the reason of these different expectations. After understand what influences the different expectations, will be possible to create sessions with the population that has more negative expectations for their future. These sessions aim to help this population to create higher expectations and have a better personal, social, economic and cultural future. | pt_PT |
