Abstract(s)
As narrativas sobre doença mental em Portugal tem o objetivo de conhecer quais são as
experiências que envolvem as pessoas com doença mental em Portugal e como decorrem os
processos de recuperação nas suas vidas diárias. Qual a representação que têm acerca do
diagnóstico médico. Qual a importância do impacto do diagnóstico psiquiátrico nas suas vidas, os
aspetos familiares e apoios sociais e a sua evolução e posterior na sua jornada de vida. Quais os
recursos que sentem ser necessários e que consideram importantes para a recuperação nas suas
jornadas de vidas; O corpo teórico está segmentado pela introdução dos aspetos históricos do
surgimento da doença, a importância do Empowerment para mudar o preconceito e estigma
presente nas mentalidades, e as implicações nos contextos sociais e nos contextos de saúde.
A conclusão procura alertar e sensibilizar para os processo decorrentes em Portugal, como meio
mudar o panorama existente em Portugal.
ABSTRACT: The narratives about mental illness in Portugal aims to learn which experiments involving people with mental illness in Portugal, and as result the recovery processes in their daily lives. What we have on the representation of medical diagnosis. How important is the impact of psychiatric diagnosis on their lives, the family and social support aspects and developments and later in his life journey. What resources will be needed and feel that are important for recovery, in the days of their lives, the theoretical framework is targeted for introduction to the historical aspects of the onset of the disease, the importance of Empowerment to change the prejudice and stigma that still present in the minds and the implications in social contexts and in the contexts of health. The conclusion seeks to alert and sensitize the process resulting in Portugal, as a means to change the panorama in Portugal.
