As

Parents` involvement practices include social and cultural mediation, communication about school, schoolwork support and participation in school and extra-school events. Gender was related with schoolwork support practice. In the other way, parents` educational level was related with communication about school practice. Finally, regarding the distribution of the responsibilities in educational tasks we found that, overall, there is a shared responsibility between the parental figures.
