Abstract(s)
Enquadramento: a exposição indireta
a traumas pode desenvolver nos
técnicos de apoio à vítima e
sobreviventes de experiências
traumáticas mudanças significativas a
nível comportamental, emocional e
cognitivo. Problema: escassez de
estudos fenomenológicos que deem voz
aos técnicos de apoio à vítima de
violência nas relações de intimidade.
Objetivo: compreender a estrutura da
experiência subjetiva dos profissionais
que trabalham com mulheres vítimas de
violência nas relações de intimidade.
Método: estudo qualitativo, de corte
transversal, com base no método
fenomenológico descritivo, da amostra
fizeram parte oito participantes do
género feminino com idades
compreendidas entre os 25 e os 64 anos.
Resultados: as participantes afirmaram
ter sentido dificuldade em distanciar-se
do trabalho que sentiam como um
trabalho frustrante, difícil, duro, pesado
e exigente. Apesar disso, consideramno
muito compensador e gratificante e
vêem-no como uma fonte de
crescimento, aprendizagens e
desenvolvimento de competências,
dando ênfase à importância que tem o
suporte de pares/social. Conclusão:
apesar de não se verificarem
perturbações emocionais, os resultados
deste estudo foram congruentes com a
literatura, na medida em que se
comprovou a existência de alterações
comportamentais, cognitivas e
emocionais procedentes da carga
emocional e da exposição a situações
desafiadoras e traumáticas
características do trabalho que fazem.
