inapropriados no contexto terapêutico.
Sexually inappropriate behaviour by patients towards female psychologists is a phenomenon that has been little researched, despite its ethical, emotional and clinical impact. In a context where psychological practice is influenced by dynamics of gender, power, and intimacy, the present study aimed to gain an in-depth understanding of the subjective experiences of clinical psychologists when faced with episodes of sexually inappropriate behaviour in the therapeutic context. To this end, a qualitative design based on Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) was used, which allows for exploring the meaning attributed by participants to their experiences. Analysis of the interviews revealed four central themes: (1) accounts of lived experiences; (2) psychologists' emotional responses; (3) experiences of the therapeutic relationship; and (4) the duality and connection between being a psychologist and being a woman. The results reinforce that CSIs represent a significant challenge for clinical practice, requiring more in-depth training, supervision, and institutional reflection on prevention and support policies
