| dc.description.abstract | Nos últimos anos, em Portugal, tem vindo a verificar-se um aumento das denúncias por maus-tratos a crianças, assim como um incremento no número de processos de Promoção e Proteção de Menores instaurados. Sendo a perícia psicológica forense um elemento de prova essencial neste tipo de casos, torna-se bastante pertinente investigar a forma como este elemento é percecionado pelos decisores judiciais. O presente estudo centrou-se no discurso dos estudantes de magistratura, e teve como principal objetivo compreender a perspetiva destes acerca do contributo e valoração das Perícias Psicológicas Forenses (PPF) em casos de Promoção e Proteção de Menores (PPM). Os participantes preencheram um questionário online e os resultados foram inseridos numa grelha de análise de conteúdo. Constatou-se que a maioria do grupo de estagiários considera que os maiores desafios são adequar as respostas ao superior interesse da criança, trabalhar com as emoções e o tempo de resposta. Por sua vez, afirmam que a avaliação deve centrar-se em agressores e vítimas, quando necessário, sendo importante avaliar as responsabilidades parentais e as consequências sofridas pela criança. Relativamente à perícia, os elementos mais valorizados foram a clareza e rigor na escrita do relatório pericial e as conclusões apresentadas no mesmo. Consideram favorável a presença e testemunho do perito em tribunal, vendo este contributo como positivo e apresentando expectativas positivas relativamente aos resultados das perícias, independentemente de serem ou não estagiários. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | The number of complaints about child abuse and the number of cases for the Promotion and Protection of Minors has increased in recent years. Several studies tried to understand the importance and contribution of Psychology, namely the use of Forensic Psychological Expertise, in such cases and what contributions it has to the next generation of magistrates and to the way they value these contributions. The present study aimed to explore the expectations of magistracy students regarding the contribution of Forensic Psychological Assessment Reports in cases of Promotion and Protection of Minors. Participants completed an online questionnaire and the results were inserted in a content analysis grid. Results indicated that the majority of the interns considered that the biggest challenges were to adapt the responses to the best interests of the children, working with emotions and the response time. In turn, they affirmed that the assessment should focus on defendants and victims, whenever necessary, being of crucial importance to assess parental responsibilities and the consequences suffered by the child. Regarding the reports, the most valued elements were the clarity and rigor of the expert report, and the conclusions presented in it. They considered favorable the presence and testimony of the expert in court, seeing this contribution as positive and presenting positive expectations regarding the results of the expertise, regardless of whether or not they are interns. | pt_PT |
