Relação entre a qualidade da vinculação à mãe e a cognição social das crianças em idade pré-escolar

| dc.description.abstract | Resumo O presente estudo aborda os efeitos da qualidade da relação de vinculação no modo como a criança constrói uma significação social. Os participantes do estudo foram 50 díades mãe-criança. As crianças tinham idades compreendidas entre os 4 e os 5 anos, e as mães variavam entre os 20 e os 41 anos (M= 34,88 anos e DP= 4,114). O nível sócio-cultural das díades foi avaliado em função do grau de escolaridade das mães. Os instrumentos utilizados foram o Attachment Behaviour Q-Set (Waters, 1987) para analisar a qualidade da relação vinculação à mãe, e a Bateria de Provas Sócio-Cognitivas (Strayer, Gravel, Pagé e Biazutti, 1994) para analisar o pensamento social das crianças. Através da Análise Hierárquica de Clusters, e das representações maternas, identificaram-se dois grupos de crianças: grupo seguro e o grupo inseguro. Uma Análise de Variância mostrou a existência de diferenças significativas na Descentração Cognitiva - justificação e descentração afectiva global, observando-se valores mais baixos nas crianças mais novas. Através de uma correlação de Pearson, constatou-se que o critério score de segurança se encontrava significativamente correlacionado com a descentração cognitiva a nível global (R= 0,460, p<0,05) e justificação (R= 0,433, p<0,05). Em relação ao score de dependência (p>0,05), não se verificou qualquer correlação. A mesma correlação, revelou que a escala “Proximidade com a mãe” se encontrava correlacionada com a Compreensão Pró-Social (R= - 0,288, p<0,042). | por |
| dc.description.abstract | ABSTRACT: The current study deals with the effects of the quality of the attachment relationship in the way the children build up a social meaning. The participants in this study were fifty diads mother-child. The children's age ranged between four and five years old, while their mothers ranged between twenty and forty-one years old (M = 34,88 years and SD = 4,114). The social and cultural levels of the diads were evaluated in relation to the mothers' school level. The Attachment Behaviour Q-Set (Waters, 1987) was used in order to analyse the quality of the attachment relationship to the mother, and the Social-Cognitive Proof set (Stayer, Gravel,Pagé and Biazutti, 1994) was used in order to analise the children's social thought. Through the hierarchical analysis of Clusters, and the maternal representations, two groups of children have been identified: the secure group and the insecure. One analysis of the variance has shown the existence of meaningful differences in the cognitive decentration - justification and the global effective decentration, with lower values in younger children. Through a correlation of Pearson, it is quite clear that the criterion score of security is significantly co-related with the cognitive decentration at a global level (R= 0,460, p<0.05) and the justification (R= 0,433, p<0,05). As far as the dependence score is concerned (p>0.05), no correlation has been found. The same correlation has shown that the scale " promixity to the mother" is correlated to the pro-social understanding(R= - 0,288, p<0,042). The results attained have corroborated the research carried out, emphasizing the strong influence of the early social experiences in the development of cognition in children, particularly in the way they understands and organizes his/her own social world. | por |
