Abstract(s)
A maternidade, para a mulher, está associada a diversas mudanças, que são visíveis
em vários momentos da sua vida, não só a nível físico mas também a nível psicológico. Com o
surgimento da pandemia e de todas a alterações que esta trouxe à rotina e à forma como as
pessoas se relacionam, nomeadamente na maternidade, torna-se pertinente explorar as
diferenças existentes entre duas gestações e posteriores pós-parto, no que diz respeito à solidão,
à ansiedade e à depressão, de uma mesma mãe.
Objetivo: Este estudo tem como principal objetivo aprofundar conhecimentos
relativamente à vivência psicológica de uma mulher que estava grávida quando surgiu a
pandemia COVID-19, comparando com uma gravidez da mesma mãe já num período posterior
à pandemia. Método: Para explorar o objetivo principal do estudo, foram realizadas um
conjunto de 4 entrevistas a uma única participante, de seguida foram transcritas e analisadas de
acordo com a análise temática. Resultados: Com os dados recolhidos é possível afirmar que
existem diferenças nas vivências psicológicas da participante durante a gestação e o pós-parto
da primeira e da segunda filha, mas que a pandemia não teve necessariamente uma influência
negativa.
ABSTRACT: Motherhood, for women, is associated with several changes, which are visible at various times in their lives, not only on a physical level but also on a psychological level. With the emergence of the pandemic and all the changes it brought to routine and the way people relate to each other, namely in maternity, it becomes pertinent to explore the differences between two pregnancies and subsequent postpartum, concerning to loneliness, anxiety, and depression, from the same mother. Objective: The main objective of this study is to deepen knowledge regarding the psychological experience of a woman who was pregnant when the COVID-19 pandemic emerged, comparing it with a pregnancy of the same mother after the pandemic. Method: To explore the main objective of the study, a set of 4 interviews were conducted with a single participant, which were then transcribed and analyzed according to thematic analysis. Results: With the data collected, it is possible to state that there are differences in the psychological experiences of the participant during pregnancy and postpartum of the first and second daughter, but that the pandemic did not necessarily have a negative influence.
