Abstract(s)
O presente estudo tem como objectivo investigar as representações sociais de criatividade em dois grupos de duas áreas de conhecimento distintas (Grupo de Ciências Exactas e Grupo de Artes) incidindo nas concepções dos participantes acerca de criatividade, e de como através da sua experiencia diferente, definem criatividade, descrevem a pessoa criativa, associam a criatividade ou não a determinadas áreas, como percepcionam e explicam a origem da criatividade e quais as personalidades de referência que apontam como exemplares de pessoa criativa.
Para o efeito procedeu-se a um estudo qualitativo em que se realizaram entrevistas semi-directivas, aos 20 participantes, 10 do Grupo de Ciências Exactas e 10 do Grupo de Artes. Os dados foram tratados através da metodologia denominada por análise de conteúdo categorial.
Os principais resultados revelam que existe uma tendência para a associação da criatividade à área de artes, que a origem da criatividade é maioritariamente concebida como algo inato, embora passível de desenvolvimento, tendo sido verificadas diferenças, consoante a área de proveniência dos participantes (Ciências Exactas e Artes), em algumas das concepções de criatividade apresentadas, sobretudo ao nível da definição de criatividade, e da descrição da pessoa criativa, revelando que embora existam representações comuns de criatividade e de pessoa criativa, verificam-se variações consoante a área de proveniência dos participantes, devido á especificidade inerente a cada domínio, e consequentes atributos e características mais valorizados nesse domínio.
Os resultados são discutidos através dos conteúdos das respostas às diferentes consignes da entrevista.
ABSTRACT: The present study has the objective to investigate the social representations of creativity in two groups of two distinct areas of knowledge (Group of Sciences and Group of Arts), taking account the different conceptions of the participants about creativity, in terms of how they define creativity, describe a creative person, merge creativity with determined areas, how they understand and explain the origin of creativity, and finally who they point out as a reference of creative person. For the effect it was made a qualitative study in that semi-directive interviews were carried out to the 20 participants, 10 of the Group of Sciences and 10 of the Group of Arts. The different results were treated throughout the methodology named has categorical qualitative analysis. The main results reveal that exists a tendency for the association of creativity to the area of arts, that the origin of creativity is majorly conceived as something innate, although subject to development in both groups, however, there have been verified differences in terms of the area of knowledge of the participants (Sciences and Arts) in some of the conceptions of creativity presented, especially about the level of definition of creativity, and description of creative person, results show a variation concerning the different areas of knowledge of the participants, due to the inherent specificity to each domain, and consequent attributes and characteristics more valued in that domain. The results are discussed through the contents of the answers to the different “major topics” of the interview.
