Vamos falando… A relação da comunicação familiar com os comportamentos sexuais de risco na adolescência

| dc.description.abstract | O objetivo do presente estudo, consiste em investigar a relação da comunicação familiar (comunicação aberta e problemática, mãe e pai), com a comunicação acerca de sexualidade. Pretende também investigar a relação da comunicação com à atitude face ao preservativo, intenção de incorrer em comportamentos de risco, auto-eficácia e perceção de risco. Por último, pretendeu-se verificar as diferenças na comunicação entre pai e mãe emergentes em rapazes e raparigas relativamente à comunicação aberta e problemática, para que se tenha um melhor entendimento acerca da comunicação dos adolescentes com os seus pais. Verificou-se que quanto mais comunicação aberta com a mãe, maior é a auto eficácia percebida pelos jovens. Verificou-se ainda que, quanto mais os jovens percepcionam a sua comunicação como aberta com os pais, pai e mãe, mais satisfação apresentam, relativamente à comunicação acerca de sexualidade. Por outro lado, uma comunicação problemática com os pais, pai e mãe representa menos satisfação com a comunicação acerca de sexualidade. Relativamente à comunicação acerca de sexualidade com os pais, verificou-se ainda que quanto mais satisfação com a comunicação acerca de sexualidade maior é a auto-eficácia percebida pelos jovens. Pode-se concluir que, quanto mais comunicação aberta com a mãe, e quanto mais satisfação com a comunicação acerca de sexualidade com os pais, maiores são os níveis de auto-eficácia percebida. Pode concluir-se ainda que, quanto mais comunicação aberta tanto com o pai como com a mãe, mais os jovens estão satisfeitos com comunicação acerca de sexualidade com os pais. ------ ABSTRACT ------ The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship of family communication (communication open and problematic mother and father) with communication about sexuality. It also seeks to investigate the relationship of communication with the attitude towards condom intention of incurring risk behaviors, self-efficacy and perception of risk. Finally, we sought to examine the differences in communication between mother and father in emerging boys and girls in relation to problematic and open communication, in order to have a better understanding of adolescent’s communication with their parents. It was found that the more open communication with the mother, the greater the perceived self-efficacy among young people. It was also found that the more young people perceive their communication as open with parents, father and mother, have more satisfaction with regard to communication about sexuality. Moreover, a communication problem with his parents, father and mother represents less satisfaction with communication about sexuality. Regarding communication about sexuality with parents, it was found that the more satisfaction with communication about sexuality is greater self-efficacy perceived by young people. It can be concluded that the more open communication with the mother, and the more satisfaction with communication about sexuality with parents, the higher levels of perceived self-efficacy. It can be concluded that, the more open communication with both the father and his mother, younger people are more satisfied with communication about sexuality with parents. | por |
