| dc.description.abstract | O presente estudo tem como objetivo verificar de que modo o Funcionamento Familiar (Coesão, Flexibilidade e, Comunicação), a Identificação Grupal e, o Tipo de Grupo influenciam a Frequência de Consumo de Substâncias (Tabaco, Álcool e, Cannabis) em adolescentes. No sentido de se testar algumas hipóteses analisou-se num primeiro momento de que modo o Funcionamento Familiar e a Identificação Grupal são preditores significativos da Frequência de Consumo de Substâncias. Posteriormente, pretendeu-se verificar se existem diferenças significativas na frequência de consumos em função do Tipo de Grupo e da Identificação Grupal. Por último, procurou-se investigar se existem diferenças significativas no Funcionamento Familiar dos adolescentes em função do consumo ou não consumo de substâncias. Este estudo é constituído por 229 participantes, com idades entre os 15 e os 21 anos, dos quais 116 são do género masculino e 113 do género feminino. Os resultados obtidos demonstram uma influência negativa e significativa da dimensão comunicação sobre a frequência de consumo de Tabaco e Cannabis, sugerindo que quanto maior a Comunicação menor a frequência de consumo de tabaco e cannabis, o mesmo não se verificou com o consumo de álcool. Verificou-se ainda uma influência significativa e positiva por parte da Identificação Grupal dos adolescentes sobre a frequência do consumo de álcool. Averiguou-se também que a frequência do consumo de tabaco e cannabis é justificada pelo Tipo de Grupo preferido. Por último verificou-se que apenas os participantes que não consomem tabaco apresentam melhores níveis de Funcionamento Familiar. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | The objective of this study is to verify how does the Family Function (Cohesion, Flexibility and Communication), the group identification and the Type of Group influence the frequency of substance consumption (tobacco, alcohol and cannabis) among teenagers. In a first phase we analysed the effect of the Familiar Functioning and the Group Identification as predictors of the frequency of substance consumption. Later, we verified if there were significant differences in the frequency of consumption in teenagers in function of the Group Type and the Group Identification. Furthermore, an investigation was performed to evaluate if there are significative differences in the Familiar Functioning in function of the consumption or not consumption of substances. This study was composed by 229 participants with ages between 15 and 21 years old. In this group, 116 were male and 113 were female. The results obtained show a significative negative influence of the Communication dimension in the frequency of consumption of Tobacco and Cannabis. This suggests that a higher communication leads to a lower frequency of tobacco and cannabis consumption. The same correlation was not verified for the consumption of alcohol. There is also a positive and significant influence by the Group Identification of teenagers on the alcohol consumption frequency. In addition, the frequency of tobacco and cannabis consumption is justified by the Group Type preferred. Lastly, we have verified that the participants who do not consume tobacco have better levels of Familiar Functioning. | pt_PT |
