Abstract(s)
ABSTRACT:The purpose of this investigation was to study the relationship between phonological awareness, morphological and types of spelling errors, and the sample represents a total of 40 participants of the 3rd grade. Then proceeded to the analysis of statistical data using SPSS, and performed the correlation test of Spearman. The data showed that the correlation between phonological awareness and the types of errors (morphological, contextual and phonetic) in the two tests (phonemic analysis and deletion of initial phoneme) is not significant because the automation of mail graph – this phonetic level of schooling becomes phonological awareness less revealer in spelling performance. It also found in this study that there is a negative, mean and significant relationship between morphological awareness and the types of errors (morphological, phonetic and contextual) that is, the higher the levels of morphological awareness, the less the occurrence of spelling errors.
