| dc.description.abstract | A liderança escolar é consensualmente caracterizada como uma função bastante exigente, onde os líderes revelam frequentemente sintomas associados ao stress e burnout. As adversidades inerentes às suas funções resultam muitas vezes na sobrecarga laboral e comprometimento do seu bem-estar pessoal e profissional. Neste sentido, a presente investigação procurou descrever a relação entre o bem-estar laboral das lideranças escolares, as suas as perceções de eficácia coletiva e as suas crenças sobre inclusão de alunos com comportamento perturbador em sala de aula, variáveis empiricamente descritas como influentes do bem-estar. Para tal, contou-se com a participação voluntária de 251 líderes escolares, 25.5% do género masculino e 74.5% do género feminino, com experiência de cargos de liderança entre os 0 e os 40 anos, que responderam a quatro questionários relativos às temáticas em estudo. Os resultados deste estudo confirmaram a existência de correlações positivas e significativas entre a maioria das variáveis em estudo, revelando algumas dimensões dos indicadores avaliados como preditores significativos do bem-estar físico e mental. Tais resultados mostraram-se reveladores, e evidenciaram a complexidade das interações entre estas variáveis. Confirmaram-se na totalidade algumas das hipóteses e parcialmente outras, mostrando, de forma geral, que o bem-estar físico, mental e laboral se relaciona com as perceções de eficácia coletiva e com as crenças acerca da inclusão de alunos com comportamento perturbador. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | ABSTRACT: School leadership is consensually characterized as a very demanding role, where leaders often reveal excessive symptoms associated with stress and burnout. The adversities inherent to their roles often result in work overload and compromising their personal and professional well-being. In this regard, the present research sought to describe the relationship between physical, mental and labour well-being of school leaders, their perceptions of collective efficacy and their beliefs about the inclusion of students with disruptive behaviour in the classroom, variables empirically described as influencing well-being. To this end, there was the voluntary participation of 251 school leaders, 25.5% male and 74.5% female, with experience in leadership positions between 0 and 40 years, who responded to four questionnaires relating to the themes under study. The results of this study confirmed the existence of positive and significant correlations between most of the variables under study, revealing some dimensions of the indicators evaluated as significant predictors of physical and mental well-being at work. Such results were revealing and highlighted the complexity of the interactions between these variables. Some of the hypotheses were fully confirmed and others partially, showing, in general, that physical, mental and work well-being is related to perceptions of collective efficacy and beliefs about the inclusion of students with disruptive behaviour. | pt_PT |
