Introdução: As Experiências Sexuais Online podem interferir com a Satisfação
da Relação Amorosa, efeito que poderá ser acentuado pela Dependência do Smartphone.
As Experiências Sexuais Online têm vindo a apresentar um forte crescimento
desencadeado pela grande aceitação das novas tecnologias e pelo aumento da
acessibilidade da internet, impulsionada pelo smartphone. Esta maior utilização das
tecnologias tem vindo a afetar a satisfação com as relações amorosas, gerando
importantes prejuízos na satisfação com a relação que podem, no limite, levar ao término
da relação. Metodologia: Estudo quantitativo e exploratório com uma amostra de N=351
(𝑥̅=30 anos; σ=10.405), sendo que 64.4% são mulheres. Esta investigação insere-se no
âmbito do projeto Geração Cordão. Foi utilizada uma escala para avaliar a Satisfação com
a Relação Amorosa, a escala SAS-SV para a Dependência do Smartphone e uma escala
para avaliar as Experiências Sexuais Online. Resultados: As correlações bivariadas
indicam uma relação positiva entre as experiências sexuais online e a dependência do
smartphone (r=.203; p<.01), e uma correlação negativa significativa entre procura de
parceiros online e a satisfação com a relação (r= -.146; p<.01). Verificou-se um efeito
medidor parcial da Dependência do Smartphone na relação entre a Procura por Parceiros
Online e a Satisfação com a Relação Amorosa (Z = -2.18; p = .029). Discussão: A
Dependência do Smartphone revelou-se um fator de risco para a adesão às Experiências
Sexuais Online, tendo se verificado o efeito de mediação parcial da Dependência do
Smartphone na Relação entre a Procura por Parceiros Sexuais Online e a Satisfação com
a Relação Amorosa. Os indivíduos cuja Procura por Parceiros Online foi maior indicaram
níveis de Satisfação com a Relação Amorosa inferiores.
ABSTRACT: Introduction: Online sexual experiences may interfere with the satisfaction of the love relationship, this effect may be accentuated by the dependence on the smartphone. Online sexual experiences have been presenting a great growth triggered by the great acceptance of new technologies and by the increase of internet accessibility driven by the smartphone, this greater use of technologies has been affecting the satisfaction with the love relationships, these damages in the satisfaction with the relationship are very important since they can lead to the termination of the relationship. Methodology: Quantitative and exploratory study with a sample of N=351 (x ̅=30 years; σ=10.405), 64.4% are women. This research falls within the scope of the Geração Cordão project. A scale was used to assess satisfaction with the love relationship, the SAS-SV scale for smartphone dependence and a scale to assess online sexual experiences. Results: Bivariate correlations indicated a positive relationship between online sexual experiences and smartphone dependence (r=.203; p<.01), and a significant negative corelation between online partner search and relationship satisfaction (r= -.146; p<.01), there was a partial mediating effect of smartphone dependence on the relationship between online partner search and love relationship satisfaction (Z = -2.18; p = .029). Discussion: smartphone dependence was a risk factor for adherence to online sexual experiences, and a partial mediating effect of smartphone dependence was found in the relationship between online sexual partner search and love relationship satisfaction. Individuals whose search for online partners was higher indicated lower levels of satisfaction with the love relationship.
