Abstract(s)
O tema do trabalho recai sobre a temática da organização dos grupos com idades
heterogéneas, em educação pré-escolar. Este estudo tem como objetivos principais
analisar como é que o educador de infância gere e organiza o ambiente educativo, como
organiza e interage com as diferentes crianças dentro da sala e como são as interações
entre as crianças. Pretende-se também refletir sobre as vantagens e desvantagens para
as crianças que frequentam uma sala heterogénea em idades, e porque é que existem
grupos formados desta forma.
Neste estudo utilizou-se um estudo de metodologia qualitativa, recorrendo à técnica de
entrevista, à análise documental e a notas e observações retiradas em campo durante
a Prática Supervisionada em jardim de infância.
Através deste estudo verificou-se que o educador tem um papel muito importante e ativo
tanto na gestão de atividades como na organização do ambiente educativo dentro de
uma sala com idades heterogéneas. As interações entre o adulto-criança e criançacriança,
onde se respeitam e valorizam a individualidade bem como as suas as
diferenças são muito importantes para o desenvolvimento global de cada criança e para
uma boa integração dentro de um grupo, sendo assim uma mais valia tanto para as
crianças mais novas como para as mais velhas.
The aim of the present project relies on the organization of groups with heterogeneous ages in preschool education. The main goals of this study are analyzing how the kindergarten teacher manage and organize the education environment, how they manage and interact with different children inside the classroom and also how are the interactions between children. Additionally, the thesis intends to reflect the advantages and disadvantages in children that attend classroom with heterogeneous ages and why exist groups with such format. To perform this study, it was used a qualitative methodology study, using the interview technique, documental analysis as well as notes and observations taken in field during the supervised practice in kindergartens as resources. In a nutshell, it was verified that the kindergarten teacher performs an important and active role, both as activity managing and education environment organization inside the classroom with heterogeneous ages. The interactions between the adult-child and childchild, where the individuality as weel as their differences are respected and enriched are very important for the overall development of each and for a good integration within a group, thus being an asset for both the youngest and the oldest children.
