Abstract(s)
A actual Dissertação tem como objecto de estudo o Bem-estar Profissional nas Pequenas e Médias Empresas Portuguesas, na perspectiva dos Sujeitos que nelas trabalham. Esta reflexão nasceu da constatação prática (de 19 anos nas empresas onde já trabalhámos, bem como na bibliografia à qual fazemos referência), de que as empresas vivem uma época de desumanização, de indiferença face ao propósito que cada indivíduo pretende alcançar para si-próprio. E da constatação de como esta desumanização leva a objectivos de curto prazo e à procura do lucro imediato esquecendo o Sujeito e as suas especificidades, colocando em segundo plano as preocupações relativas ao Bem-estar Profissional.
Na perspectiva Existencialista aqui defendida, pretende-se identificar o que os profissionais das Pequenas e Médias Empresas Portuguesas consideram ser, para-si, Bem-estar Profissional. Não queremos definir „Bem-estar Profissional‟. Nem criar um conceito. O que pretendemos identificar é como cada sujeito, em contexto empresarial, descreve o que entende ser Bem-estar Profissional. Para tal, colocámos a seguinte pergunta de investigação: “Descreva o que é, para-si, Bem-estar Profissional”.
As respostas mostram, nomeadamente, que o Bem-estar Profissional, do ponto de vista do Sujeito, é inseparável de questões como: “ter liberdade no desempenho das tarefas”; “sentir reconhecimento pelo trabalho desenvolvido”; “sentir que a tarefa individual é importante para o desempenho global da empresa”; “sentir prazer no que se faz”; “sentir que o trabalho não representa uma clivagem com o projecto de vida nem com a família”; e sentir “que se está a contribuir para um mundo melhor”.
Consideramos que estes podem ser aspectos importantes para os Gestores que desejem desenvolver empresas humanamente mais responsáveis, onde o Bem-estar Profissional contribua para a sua competitividade e para a sua diferenciação no mercado.
ABSTRACT: The current Dissertation has as goal the study of professional well-being in small and average Portuguese companies, in the perspective of the employees. This reflection was born out of the practical evidence (19 years of working experience in companies, as well as out of the bibliography we make reference to) that companies are going through times of inhuman conduct, indifference face to each individual, as a subject, and what he intends for himself. And the fact that this inhuman process leads to short term goals, searching for fast results, overseeing the subject and his specificity, placing in second plan the preoccupations about professional well-being. In the existentialist perspective defended here, we intend to identify what professionals of small and average Portuguese companies believe to be professional well-being. We don‟t want to define `Professional Well-being' or to create a concept. What we intend to identify is how each subject, in enterprise context, describes what he understands to be “Professional Well-being”. For such, we placed the following question of inquiry: “Describe what Professional Well-being means for you”. The answers show that “Professional Well-being”, of the subject‟s point of view, is non-separable from questions like: “to have freedom in the performance of tasks”; “to feel recognized for the work you have done”; “to feel that our individual tasks are important for the global performance of the company”; “to feel pleasure out of your work”; “to feel that the work doesn‟t collide with your lives project our your family”, and “to feel you are giving a contribute for a better world”. We consider that these can be important aspects for the Managers who desire to develop more human responsible companies, where Professional Well-being contributes for its competitiveness and differentiation in the market
